Spring / Summer Sports

Softball - Girls, Ages 6-16 (2010)

Season: Practices begin in April, Games start in May

Age Divisions (2010)

• 8U (Ages 6-8): Coach Pitch
• 10U (Ages 9-10): Player Pitch (35 foot pitching distance) some travel
• 12U (Ages 11-12): Player Pitch (40 foot pitching distance) some travel
• 14U (Ages 13-14): Player Pitch (may be combined with 16U, pending sign-ups) some travel
• 16U (Ages 15-16): Player Pitch (high school size field) some travel

Location: Urbana City Park, GYAA Park in St. Paris, Goshen Park in Mechanicsburg, North Lewisburg Park

• (Each team will travel to each location one time, except for 8U)

Sign-ups: February 27th & March 6th from 10-2 at the Park Office in Urbana (by the tennis courts).

Enrollment fees (2010 season):

• TBD

• (Cut-offs in age brackets are as of January 1st)

Required Equipment: Ball glove (Helmet face mask may be required)

Suggested Equipment: Helmet with face mask, Sliding Pads, Cleats.

Optional Equipment: Bat, Batting Gloves
